Book Club
The next book is "The Cellist of Sarajevo" by Stephen Halloway. The Group will meet at Yvonne and Ramsay's on 8 May 2009.

Tom Jepson, Finn Taylor, Cameron Taylor and Finn Donnelly did a sponsored walk to Otterspool Prom on Sunday 8 March 2009. In the course of the walk they had to complete a number of challenges. They had to tell 5 jokes each, had a go on all of the fitness machines climbed from one end of the spiders web climbing frame, thought of funny words beginning with every letter of the alphabet and - miraculously! - didn't speak for five minutes.They were sponsored by their neighbours in Brockholme Road and raised over £50 for Comic Relief.

Book Club
The next book club is on Friday 13 February at Dave and Barbara's house (No. 6). The book is "Persepolis"by Marjane Satrapi. The evening will also be a delayed Burns night with poetry so bring your favourite verse to share with the readers.
